Mr. Groove Soul is paying tribute to much of the music we grew up on in NC. With two older sisters who loved to dance and sing, our home and cars were constantly filled with the great soul music that ruled the radio in those years. We will be releasing original material in that vein and some classic reboots. Our first release in this genre will reimagine the great Luther Ingram classic, “If Loving You is Wrong.” This track features a fantastic orchestra arranged and conducted by the great Gary Lindsay, Keith Carlock of Steely Dan on drums, Pat Coil from Michael McDonald’s band on keyboards, Lenny Castro from Toto on percussion, the great Bill Champlin on vocals, Roddy on guitar, and yours truly on bass.
